Tiré de Porgy & Bess, I love You Porgy, cette magnifique version voix-piano ne me lasse jamais.
Spoiler:
(1935) Ira Gershwin, DuBose Heyward, George Gershwin I loves you, Porgy, Don't let him take me Don't let him handle me And drive me mad If you can keep me I wanna stay here with you forever And I'll be glad Yes I loves you, Porgy, Don't let him take me Don't let him handle me With his hot hands If you can keep me I wants to stay here with you forever I've got my man I loves you, Porgy, Don't let him take me Don't let him handle me And drive me mad If you can keep me I wanna stay here with you forever I've got my man Someday I know he's coming to call me He's going to handle me and hold me So, it' going to be like dying, Porgy When he calls me But when he comes I know I'll have to go I loves you, Porgy, Don't let him take me Honey, don't let him handle me and drive me mad If you can keep me I wanna stay here with you forever I've got my man
Et le 2nd, Don't smoke in bed. L'histoire d'une rupture.
Spoiler:
(1958) Songwriters: ROBISON, WILLARD
I left a note on his dresser My old wedding ring With these few goodbye words How can I sing Goodbye old sleepy head I'm packing you in like I said
Take care of everything I'm leaving my wedding ring Don't look for me I'll get ahead Remember darling Don't smoke in bed
Don't look for me I'll get ahead Remember darling Don't smoke in bed
Pour finir, It never entered my mind de Miles Davis (1956).
Spoiler:

Dropkick Murphys - Rose Tattoo
Spoiler:
The pictures tell the story This life has many shades I’d wake up every morning and before I’d start each day I’d take a drag from last nights cigarette That smoldered in it’s tray Down a little something and then be on my way
I traveled far and wide And laid this head in many ports I was guided by a compass I saw beauty to the north I drew the tales of many lives And wore the faces of my own I had these memories all around me So I wouldn’t be alone
Some may be from showing up Others are from growing up Sometimes I was so messed up and didn’t have a clue I ain’t winning no one over I wear it just for you I’ve got your name written here In a rose tattoo
In a rose tattoo In a rose tattoo I’ve got your name written here In a rose tattoo
This ones for the mighty sea Mischief, gold and piracy This ones for the man that raised me Taught me sacrifice and bravery This ones for our favorite game Black and gold, we wave the flag This ones for my family name With pride I wear it to the grave
Some may be from showing up Others are from growing up Sometimes I was so messed up and didn’t have a clue I ain't winning no one over I wear it just for you I’ve got your name written here In a rose tattoo
In a rose tattoo In a rose tattoo I’ve got your name written here, In a rose tattoo In a rose tattoo In a rose tattoo I’ve got your name written here In a rose tattoo
This one means the most to me Stays here for eternity A ship that always stays the course An anchor for my every choice A rose that shines down from above I signed and sealed these words in blood I heard them once, sung in a song It played again and we sang along
You’ll always be there with me Even if you’re gone You’ll always have my love Our memory will live on
Some may be from showing up Others are from growing up Sometimes I was so messed up and didn’t have a clue I ain't winning no one over I wear it just for you I’ve got your name written here In a rose tattoo
In a rose tattoo In a rose tattoo I’ve got your name written here, In a rose tattoo In a rose tattoo In a rose tattoo With pride I’ll wear it to the grave for you In a rose tattoo In a rose tattoo I’ve got your name written here, In a rose tattoo In a rose tattoo In a rose tattoo Signed and sealed in blood I would die for you
Spoiler:
16 years old when I went to war, To fight for a land fit for heroes, God on my side, and a gun in my hand, Counting my days down to zero, And I marched and I fought and I bled and I died, And I never did get any older, But I knew at the time that a year in the line, Is a long enough life for a soldier,
We all volunteered, and we wrote down our names, And we added two years to our ages, Eager for life and ahead of the game, Ready for history's pages, And we fought and we brawled and we whored 'til we stood, Ten thousand shoulder to shoulder, A thirst for the Hun, we were food for the gun, And that's what you are when you're soldiers,
I heard my friend cry, and he sank to his knees, Coughing blood as he screamed for his mother, And I fell by his side, and that's how we died, Clinging like kids to each other, And I lay in the mud and the guts and the blood, And I wept as his body grew colder, And I called for my mother and she never came, Though it wasn't my fault and I wasn't to blame, The day not half over and ten thousand slain, And now there's nobody remembers our names, And that's how it is for a soldier.
Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah
Spoiler:
I've heard there was a secret chord That David played and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? Well it goes like this the fourth, the fifth The minor fall and the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Well your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty and the moonlight over threw you She tied you to her kitchen chair She broke your throne and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Baby I've been here before I've seen this room and I've walked this floor, you know I used to live alone before I knew you But I've seen your flag on the marble arch And love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Well there was a time when you let me know What's really going on below But now you never show that to me, do you ? But remember when I moved in you An holy dove was moving too And every breath we drew was hallelujah
Hallelujah , Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Well, maybe there's a God above But all ever learned from love Was how to shoot somebody who out drew ya And it's not a cry that you hear at night It's not somebody who's seen the light It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah...
Scorpions - Wind of change
Spoiler:
I follow the Moskva Down to Gorky Park Listening to the wind of change An August summer night Soldiers passing by Listening to the wind of change
The world is closing in Did you ever think That we could be so close, like brothers The future's in the air I can feel it everywhere Blowing with the wind of change
Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow dream away In the wind of change
Walking down the street Distant memories Are buried in the past forever I follow the Moskva Down to Gorky Park Listening to the wind of change
Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams With you and me Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow dream away In the wind of change
The wind of change Blows straight into the face of time Like a stormwind that will ring the freedom bell For peace of mind Let your balalaika sing What my guitar wants to say
Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow share their dreams With you and me Take me to the magic of the moment On a glory night Where the children of tomorrow dream away In the wind of change
Elton John - Candle in the wind
Spoiler:
Goodbye England's rose May you ever grow in our hearts You were the grace that placed itself Where lives were torn apart
You called out to our country And you whispered to those in pain Now you belong to Heaven And the stars spell out your name
And it seems to me you lived your life Like a candle in the wind Never fading with the sunset When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here Along England's greenest hills Your candle's burned out long before Your legend ever will
Loveliness we've lost These empty days without your smile These torch we'll always carry For our nation's golden child
And even though we try The truth brings us to tears All ours words cannot express The joy you brought us through the years
And it seems to me you lived your life Like a candle in the wind Never fading with the sunset When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here Along England's greenest hills Your candle's burned out long before Your legend ever will
Goodbye England's rose May you ever grow in our hearts You were the grace that placed itself Where lives were torn apart
Goodbye England's rose From a country lost without your soul Who'll miss the wings of your compassion More than you'll ever know
And it seems to me you lived your life Like a candle in the wind Never fading with the sunset When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here Along England's greenest hills Your candle's burned out long before Your legend ever will

Effectivement, le Motörhead est bien senti. Merci Dams

Led Zeppelin : "Black Dog"
David Bowie : "Moonage Daydream"

Johnny Marr, les yeux clos, le cheveux teint, where have all the good times gone ?
Johnny Marr : Please please please let me get what i want
"....and Lord knows it would be the first time...."

He skipped the last fandango, so long Gary.
Procol Harum : "A whiter shade of pale" (1967).
